The Two Ways of Synastry Chart Relationship Evolution

The synastry chart is a very good place to start, with a single glance we can see the way the couple evolves (consciously or unconsciously), by the proportion of the aspects that appear within their personal planets.

There are two basic ways of evolution within a couple based on the aspects that are dominant in the synastry chart: evolution through resemblance and evolution through differences.

Evolution through resemblance is somewhat more relaxed and steady way of evolving, when two people who are quite alike (as astrological structure) meet, fall in love and build a couple relationship. This process is based on trines and sextiles in terms of astrological aspects, and offers the chance of seeing themselves in the other exactly as they are, because of the resemblances that manifest between the two. 

This means that each of them can discover their beauty and their faults in the other along the way, slowly recognizing all the aspects that are harmonious and amplifying them, recognizing all the aspects that are tensioning and correcting them. 

Because the feeling of the other being just like me, like something I’ve been living with for my whole life, a certain state of comfort and stability appears, and it is more difficult to see all the personality weaknesses that are needed to correct in order to awaken our spiritual awareness and to align to our spiritual path we chose for this life. This is a way to evolve somewhat more peacefully, but on the long term, it takes time to be objective if you only see yourself (reflected by the one you love) most of the time.

The second way of evolution is through differences. This is the hardest, but most efficient and most intense way. Astrologically, these are relationships in which the dominant aspects are squares and oppositions. These relationships are intense because we can understand our own way of being, with all our strength and weakness through our lover’s totally different way of being. 

The tension brought by squares specially, but also the sense of unknown that the oppositions awake in us gives us no chance to stay indifferent or be lenient with our own mistakes or our inferior resonances. It is the fastest and most efficient way to evolve, it is the hardest also because it forces our emotional and mental limits toward overcoming our human nature over and over again in order to discover that we are more than we ever thought. 

These kind of couples are those who has to learn to love each other despite their differences, despite things that they don’t understand at each other, knowing that they have a common ideal and that their love sustains them and helps them overcome any difficulties.

Of course, there are few relationships that are exclusively manifesting one type or the other, but usually there is predominance toward one or the other, easing the tension of squares with trines, respectively pushing couples out of their limiting comfort of trines with some squares. 

Each of the cases, divine intervention tries to help us turn toward the right direction, pushing us forward, forcing our minds in order to finally take a firm path toward our divine nature.

Synastry Chart - Relationship Astrology Analysis

The synastry chart is a table representing the planets and angles of the two natal charts and what is more important, their relationship in terms of degrees between them on the zodiac circle.

These aspects are subject to the basics of astrology so I will not detail them here, the calculation of a synastry chart can be done with a computer program and also by free applications on the internet.
This chart has the extraordinary gift to show us the way the energies move between the planets and angles of the couple’s individuals, the way energy is circulating between the elements of their natal charts.


Any problem or joy within a couple can be located on the synastry chart, this is the first step in the analysis of a relationship, finding their strengths and weaknesses, their gifts and their shortcomings. 


Most of the couples never move out of the synastry chart’s aspects, remaining on a more or less superficial level regarding the aspects that they perceive as a problem, because of what the other does or how the other behaves. This kind of approach is quite limiting, but for those who don’t have the need for deeper understanding in terms of spiritual evolution can be of great help in understanding the mechanisms that cause their problems. 


Usually, when a couple is only interested in how to solve problems that exists “because of the other”, I try to guide them through their natal chart in understanding their own responsibilities regarding that problem, thus forming a team that is working together due to a wider (not necessarily deeper) understanding.

Predictions August 10 - September 10 2011

This kind of predictions that are oriented on the zodiac signs in a generalized manner, I personally consider superficial, because they take into consideration only one element (the Sun's position in different signs) from the multitude of elements that influence the personality of a person. Moreover I consider astrological predictions headings that you can find in the mass media, should promote astrology as a science of the soul and of human evolution, not only should it provide certain information that puts astrology in a trivial light.

For this reason I want to specify that for taking into consideration the position of the Sun in the signs (meaning for those born in Aries, Taurus, etc.) there are some general elements that can be predicted from the influences of the astral transits, these being mostly about the vital energy, the general state of the soul and the force with which people express their personality. The rest of the influences (like relations, carrier, money, etc.) depend on the individual configuration of the birth chart analysis and have to be studied individually.

Aries:
The vital energy and the energy of your personality are not a very favorable position in this period. It is necessary to weigh your vital energy more than usual, mostly in the first part of the period. It may be hard for you to control your impulsiveness about your past and it may be necessary to be more introverted than usual to avoid energy loss.

Taurus:
The unending vital energy of the Taurus, though stable, isn't at the usual level. It is possible that in the first part of this period to tire more easily, but it is a period that is very favorable for discovering more elevated and well refined pleasures in life. I recommend you to enjoy the awakenings that go on, on a soul level, that you will have in this period.

Gemini:
In the first part of the period, the vital and soul energy tends to contract and this makes it harder for you to make a decision and to mobilize yourself to put it into application. In the second part of this period the energy is going to grow considerably, but it will still have a tendency towards going inside and for retreating.

Cancer:
It can be a more agitated period than it normally is, with more intense feelings and states, but these states will also be the ones taking you out of the inertia if were at a roadblock. Try to be active, but not agitated; dynamic but not too aggressive.

Leo:
In the first part of the period you can enjoy a heightened energy flow, glowing more than usual, a state in which everything is possible. You have the tendency to enjoy more all that is beautiful around you. In the second part of this period, if you choose to be generous and humble, even though things will not be as intense as they are in the first part, the inside glow will still remain.

Virgo:
The first part of this period can seem a little more difficult and foreign, but the second part will be a forceful comeback for the vital energy, as well as in the clarity about what you desire and how you can obtain it. Also, the second part can be a period of a very profound soul awakening, about your own person and also about everything that surrounds you.

Libra:
For the ones with the Sun in Libra, it is a period with a lot of contracting energy, even though in some moments there are tendencies for being extroverted or even for spreading yourself too thin, in this period there is a necessity for discipline and for learning how to use the energy in a more mature way, taking into account the voice of the soul more than usual.

Scorpio:
Though they are not in your best shape, the vital and soul energy of the ones born in Scorpio is positive. Because the vital energy is lower than usual, the states aren't lived at the max, there can rather be nostalgic about the past and have a certain receptivity for the people that are around them.

Sagittarius:
The vital and soul energy is in a very favorable period for the ones born in this sign, especially for the first part. It is important though, in order to be able to enjoy a boost of energy, to remember to do things joyfuly put a lot of heart into everything you do. The second part of this period can require more effort to obtain the results, but you have enough energy for everything.

Capricorn:
Things are going great with your vital energy, but it is important to take your time to regenerate, to recharge your batteries. It is a period of intense tranformations, that began some time ago, and that won't let you ignore the voice of your soul, forcing you to follow it.

Aquarius:
It is easier for you now to express your feelings and to find resources to reach your goals. Still, remember that it is important to take time for yourself, in order for the balance of the vital and soul energy to be achieved and also try to avoid agitation and braging.

Pisces:
In this period, more so in the second part, you might experience a state in which it will be a little hard to manifest and exteriorize yourself. It is important to take care of what you have neglected in the past, about your souls aspirations, about the chapters you haven't put an end to even though you knew you should have. You have a lot of energy, but certain relations with unsolved problems from the past can consume your energy unnecesary.

What to Take With You on Your Vacation – The Meaning of Imum Coeli or “The bottom of the sky” in Your Natal Chart

The bottom of the sky (imum Coeli – latin) is one of the four angles of the chart, it is a point exactly opposite (180 degrees) the Midheaven (Medium Coeli). This means that if you have Midheaven in your chart in Leo for example, you will have IC at the same degrees in Aquarius. If Midheaven is connected to our individual image in front of others, our career and professional aspirations, Imum Coeli is the place we find our intimacy with ourselves, the most efficient way we regenerate and recharge our batteries... depending on the zodiac sign of Imum Coeli, certain small details are recommended to be taken care of in order to restore our energy levels and inner strength. IC in Scorpio: find a magical realm, without too many people; try to find the mystery of the place you are going to, discovering its secrets step by step
IC in Sagittarius: make sure you take some interesting books to  read, and find a place which has something interesting and fascinating for you in its culture
IC in Capricorn: the mountains are the key, try climbing and long walks on them, take time to be alone in some of those walks...
IC in Aquarius: never go alone on a vacation, best for you is to go with your group of friends and never go to the same place twice. You should also try some new experiences, something out of your ordinary doings...
IC in Pisces: a small lake with a little house and the loved-ones around you, candles and campfire in the evening and late swims are recommended...

Full Moon – A Moment of The Instincts: Phases of the Moon

The Full Moon is the astrological moment when the opposition between the Sun and the Moon is at its maximum. This is the moment when the Moon (symbol of the subconscious, fears and past) has the maximum influence over our planet and implicitly over our beings. 

The Moon having a powerful connection to liquids, our organisms respond very easily to its movement, and in this particular moment our emotional state and psychic is at its full receptivity. 

The Moon being the governor of our emotional depths, instincts and fears, this moment creates an open gate toward our hidden and instinctive behaviors, reflexes that we usually control and keep under control with the power of the Sun’s energy (the symbol of consciousness and individual will), but in this moment the Sun’s energy is at the opposite side of the sky, leaving the Moon completely without conscious control.

This is why it is not recommended to make any decisions during the influence of the Full Moon (this means eighteen hours before and after its maximum, plus/minus eight degrees of the opposition).

The problem itself is not with the Full Moon, this aspect only opens our beings to the depths of our subconscious mind and to the influence of the collective subconscious. These few hours the influence of our subtle environment defines our behavior and reactions, for the moment, this being the planetary energy and level of consciousness and we all know that at this point of evolution the human species’ existence is at a critical point.

We have to be careful, the Full Moon amplifies our inferior tendencies like egoism, pride, anger, jealousy, aggressiveness and other very dangerous behaviors, by pushing away the conscious control and awareness over them, so any activities that we perform during its influence has to have our maximum attention and focus, we also have to cultivate and sustain this period the best we can our humbleness, peace and harmony in order to eliminate the influences the best we can...

Way back in time, in ancient times Full Moon was used to perform rituals, because it was the easiest way to have access to the sublime energies that were manifested those times through the high level of consciousness of humanity... this era is not suitable for actions like that because right now humanity confronts itself with the lowest level of vibration ever... it is up to each of us with what we feed the Earth’s aura to take it to a higher vibration...
